Sustainable Business Models: Engaging Consumers and Employees

RSVP for the event

On November 14th, join Salterbaxter, World Resources Institute, and industry peers for a roundtable discussion on the importance of effective consumer and employee engagement in driving sustainable business models that can grow revenue while shrinking social and environmental costs.

Following the 2017 report Elephant in the Boardroom, World Resources Institute is developing guidance on how to assess the sustainability benefits of reuse apparel sector business models, as well as the obstacles businesses must overcome to implement them. Drawing on this groundbreaking research, with learnings applicable to all consumer-facing businesses, and Salterbaxter’s insight into effective consumer and employee engagement, we will explore the following questions:

1. What is the importance of new business models in driving sustainable change and delivering business value?

2. Why is it important to engage consumers and employees throughout this transformative process?

3. How can companies maximize their social impact by centering their interactions with consumers and employees around active “experiences” (as opposed to passive, one-way communications)?

What are the opportunities and challenges faced by companies to get there?

If you or a colleague would like to attend, please contact Luna Atamian to RSVP.
